In 2018 I embarked on an Honours Degree at in Art and Design (Communication Design) with the University of South Australia. My studies were in sustainable storytelling using imagery and language with a focus on bees for my final pieces. Using a Participatory Paradigm my work often encompasses working with local communities and groups of people.

Areas of personal interest include nature re-connection, visual storytelling, fauna protection, plastic reduction and re-greening. Since completing my studies I have undertaken coordinating activities and gatherings that share positive data with my community. These include Plastic Free July at the City of Charles Sturt’s 19 on Green in Bowden and a local gathering called I’m Greening my Hood at the Joy of Flora Cafe in West Croydon.

My art practice seeks to highlight issues through public art and temporary messaging in chalk or paste-up. In winter of this year, I will complete a range of bike awareness pieces along Day Terrace in West Croydon for Westside Bug. Commercial work I am currently engaging in includes a visual banner project reflecting how the community sees Largs Bay for the City of Port Adelaide Enfield. With my partner Eugene Suleau I am producing Bee Babies an interactive children’s theatrical production which teaches children to empathise with bees in their environment.
